This Privacy Policy explains how Ruslan Shlenkin PR (“we”) collects and processes data when you use Lyric Video Maker.

We aim to collect the minimum data needed to run the Service.

• Project data: audio you upload, background files you upload, captions (text and timings), style/effect settings, and exported outputs (if generated).
• Technical data: standard server logs (e.g., IP address, user-agent, timestamps, error codes) for security and debugging.
• Messages: if you contact us, we receive your name, email, and message.

• We use an essential cookie to link projects to your browser without requiring an account (an httpOnly cookie).
• We may store the last opened project id in localStorage to restore it on your next visit.

We do not use third‑party advertising trackers.

• Provide the Service: upload files, transcribe audio, save edits/settings, and generate exports.
• Maintain security, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot issues.
• Respond to your messages.

We use service providers (“processors”) to operate the Service, including:

• Transcription: based on configuration, your audio may be processed by speech-to-text providers (e.g., OpenAI Whisper, AssemblyAI, Deepgram, Groq, or our infrastructure endpoint). For some providers we share a time-limited signed link to the audio, or send the audio server-side.
• Storage and delivery: project files and export outputs may be stored in S3-compatible storage and delivered via time-limited links for playback/download.
• Background media: if you choose stock images/videos, we access catalogs (e.g., Pexels or Pixabay) and store the selected background in your project.

We may also disclose data if required by law or to protect our rights and users.

We retain project data so you can continue editing and exporting. You can delete a project inside the app, and we will make reasonable efforts to remove associated data from our database and storage. Some data may persist for a limited time in backups.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data, but no method of storage or transmission is 100% secure.

• Email us at support@lyricvideo.app to request access/deletion or ask privacy questions.

The Service is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us.

We may update this Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
